What are the Benefits of Rhino Linings?
Your bakkie is a workhorse, delivering and collecting supplies, packed to the brim with camping gear on those rare days off, and used to help a friend or two move. Protecting bakkie beds from further damage or preventing it in the first place is possible by installing Rhino Linings. Take a couple of hours out of your day and pop into Electronic Fitment Centre to have your bakkie’s bed professionally lined.
How can Rhino Linings Protect my Vehicle?
Here are a few ways Rhino Linings can protect vehicles:
Handles impacts – you can chuck anything onto the back of your bakkie without any fear of damaging the goods in the back or scratching the bed.
Corrosion resistant – moisture, salt, rain, and various chemicals cause rust. The air and water-tight bond of Rhino Linings provides a protective coating against corrosion and continual wear.
Noise reduction – as much as bigger items are strapped in on the back of a bakkie, if not properly secured, there is a lot of noise, especially when going over bumps. Something you will notice with lined beds is less noise coming from a loaded bed.
Slip resistance – Rhino Linings offer excellent slip resistance, helping to keep your cargo securely in place.
As the lining moulds to the contours, it doesn’t take up much-needed packing space and allows you to have other accessories fitted.
The formula for Rhino Linings has been adjusted, refined, and perfected, offering you the best bed protection for your bakkie.
The Application Process
Just as the exterior of a vehicle needs to be prepped for a fresh coat of paint, the bed of your bakkie needs to be free of any residue.
Fittings are removed to prevent paint build-up.
The vehicle is masked to prepare for scuffing, which allows for proper paint adhesion.
Any residue is removed from the bed and tailgate as it may cause a chemical reaction.
The rest of the vehicles are masked to protect them whilst the lining is being applied.
As much as we at Electronic Fitment Centre would like you to use your bakkie as soon as the coating is sprayed on, we would rather err on the side of caution and recommend that you wait between two to four hours before making the most of your new protective lining.
