Smash-and-Grab Protective Film – The Only Solution

Hopefully, you have never succumbed to the terrible violation of a theft out of motor vehicle or worse, a mobile smash and grab whilst you were driving. It is traumatic to have your window smashed and greedy hands enter your personal space to grasp at anything in sight. This is where Smash-and-grab protective film comes in.

As these cases of vehicle invasion and smash-and-grab incidents become increasingly more common, one hopes that you have learned the basic safety principles to avoid these incidents and to minimise your risk of becoming a victim.

Of course, common sense plays a large role in this crime-prevention exercise. However, there are some fundamental physical changes you could investigate in order to assist in protecting your family, investments, and movable assets that travel with you in your car.

Normal Window Tinting vs Smash-and-Grab Protective Film

You could investigate the normal tinting of your windows as it is more often than not the cheaper option. It is aesthetically pleasing and sometimes might assist with reducing UV rays from entering the vehicle but unfortunately, due to its make-up, it offers very little resistance to forced entry.

It also does not offer the safety of not having shards of broken glass flying into the occupied space within the vehicle. Ordinary glass or tinted-film-covered glass will smash on impact, handing the advantage to the offender. The glass is retained by the advanced film and adheres to it much more effectively, preventing those loose shards and, on impact, it does not simply shatter. It automatically puts the advantage back on the side of the driver, allowing for a few extra seconds to react and potentially prevent a smash-and-grab incident from occurring or for eyewitnesses to react and assist.

Using smash-and-grab film offers the same aesthetically pleasing look. It does assist with UV protection for your skin and the vehicle’s interior and prevents glare. It is transparent enough to remain street legal yet it is dark enough to offer passenger privacy.

The film is much thicker than its alternative. It is an advanced product that uses the very latest technology and additives, making it stronger and more durable.
